I did several sales activities in eSourcing, spend analysis and outsourcing of indirect Procurement categories.

Set up of Procurement Service Provider

Implementation Ariba Spend Management solution at an international pharmaceutical company in Frankfurt.
- Function: Interim Global Supplier Integration Management (SIM) for almost 2 years:
- Set-up Supplier integration, Ariba Supplier Network, Catalog management, Supplier enablement and Content management strategy, organisation, services and products for a multinational in 8 countries, e.g. sourcing methodology for eCatalogs: USA, Canada, France, Germany, Brazil, Spain, Italy, UK
- Act as liaison between buyers, suppliers and technical and functional teams. Hold supplier summits. Trained buyers and suppliers on ASN.
- Trained local SIMs in the countries about Ariba architecture (variants and partitions), supplier enablement, Ariba buyer, ASN Features, catalog management, catalog filtering, content management, PunchOut, CIF, CSV files.
- Draw global satellite documents to describe processes around supplier enablement, catalog management and content management. Involved in satellite documents for several commodities like office supplies, business cards or receiving goods.
- Involved in set-up of new Terms and Conditions because of implementation of eProcurement.
- Designing and implementing SIM business processes with IDEF 0 and MsVision.
- Organized several workshops to get user requirements e.g. Discussion about how to improve content management: ‘Improving Catalog Content responsibility of Aventis?’
· Improved guidelines for Static and PunchOut catalogs
· Content Management Framework per commodity.
· Ways to encourage suppliers to create high quality content
· Ways to get to know the suppliers content management strategy.
- Set up SIM organisation in all countries.
- As Global SIM being part in set up and implementation of Category and Contract management teams.
- I managed a team of 20 people from 8 different countries. Most of them were located in their own country. Communication via weekly telephone conference calls, video conference calls and face to face meetings.
- These activities involved international travelling.


1998 - 2002 PwC Consulting (now IBM Business Consulting)

Implementation of Ariba e-Procurement at the Dutch Railway in Utrecht. Function: Responsible for Supplier adoption and content management. Set-up Supplier integration, Ariba Supplier Network, Catalog management, Supplier enablement and Content management strategy, services and products. I managed a team of 5 people and I developed and implement a procurement handbook and supplier adoption and content management processes.

Implementation of ILIAS at an international Defence organisation in Geilenkirchen Germany. Function: As team leader responsible for functional testing of the application Ilias. Designing and implementing test strategy and test scripts. Managing a team of 15 people. Business processes designed with IDEF 0.

Pre-sales BAAN ERP Project for a Swiss company in heating systems in Zürich

Implementation of ERP system Metacom VI at a Road constructor in the Netherlands. Describing AS-IS and TO-BE business processes with MsVision to create a more efficient and effective way of working and supporting by Metacom VI.

Implementation of BAAN IV Project at a installation company in the Netherlands. I was responsible for implementing BAAN IV Project on time and within budget. I managed a team of 6 people.


1996 - 1998 SYS-AID Management Consultants (now CSC)

I did several BAAN IV Project Pre-Sales activities to support the sales person.

Project management and implementation of BAAN IV at a Centre for Concepts in Mechatronics. I was responsible to deliver the project on time and within budget and advised the client. I managed a team of 10 people.

Participation of test team BAAN Series Project. I did some tests to increase the quality of the product.

Applicability research and implementation of BAAN IV Project at a water management company. I checked if BAAN IV Project was the best solution for the client to meet their demands.

Applicability research for migration project from TRITON 2.2 to BAAN IV. I make an several analysis, milestone planning and communication plan to migrate from TRITON to BAAN IV.

Participation in BAAN IV repository definition team 'Project Industries'. I did some test to increase the quality of the product.

TRITON 3.1 Project implementation at two divisions. I designed customisations and implement Trition Project at the client. At one division I was team leader and I managed 4 people. At the other division I was consultant and helped to implement the application.

I am a functional and business consultant implementing Ariba Spend Management solutions.
