The business group Philips High Tech Plastics had three businesses of which two were located in Lommel (Automotive and Electronic plastics). Due to portfolio choices of the Philips concern the business group High Tech Plastic was at sale. Proceeding the sale the business Electronics was transferred to Suzhou (China). Afterwards the business group High Tech Plastics was split up and the Automotive business (Lommel, Juarez, Loni) became a stand alone business managed by the Lommel management.
