2008 – Today Latin America Group Financial Controller
LEGRAND – Electrical industries - France (87), 4.2 Bln EUR Turnover
Over a perimeter of 10 legal entities in 15 countries (260 MUSD turnover), in addition to my current mission, I coordinate Group experts in steering Group transnational projects: product offer redesign, industrial strategy definition and implementation, HR policy, Supply Chain Management projects. As an example, I have successfully managed the following subjects:
1. Restructuring of commercial entities in the area
2. Finding a solution to transfer 80% of the cash of the area first to hard currency then to Europe (about MUSD 200).
3. Definition and implementation of a 5 year industrial master plan.
4. Driving Supply Chain, purchasing and marketing projects in challenging political and economical environments.

2004 – 2007 Group Financial Controller
LEGRAND – Electrical industry - France (87), 4.2 Bln EUR Turnover
Key contact person for both subsidiaries and Group top management, the GFC supervises financial information production and overall performance assessment for subsidiaries under his control, in line with the strategy defined by Group management. His mission is twofold:
- Financial control: Monitor production of 5 years business plans and implementation follow up and execution. Assist the subsidiaries in 1) production and communication of all financial statements (IFRS) on a monthly and yearly basis, and validate this information, 2) investments plans, restructuring projects and all financing operations.
- Business Partner: Provide support to the subsidiary to making its strategic decisions, assisting the local management in steering the business, advise on risk management (legal and fiscal aspects), on organization and evolution of the entity’s structure, provide support on all specific actions such as M&A and monitor integration of new acquisitions.
Working with countries as Greece, Iran, Egypt, Romania, Venezuela, Colombia I have successfully managed the following subjects:
1. Reorganisation of financial / IT departments in Romania and Iran
2. Complete change of the business model of Caricom area, with results growth of the EBIT by 25% in 2 years.
3. In a complex buy-out of minority shareholders I have negotiated several IFRS books closings with external auditors, generating substantial results in cash savings.
4. Start-up of a distribution subsidiary in Algiers with a turnover growth of 60% in two years.
5. Implementation of industrial restructuring in Iran with a 15% increase in productivity in 2 years.

2000 - 2004 Financial Controller
MB Group - Automotive - France (39), 280 ME Turnover
- Two main missions in this Job were a) cash management of the Group and of its subsidiaries, b) financial control of subsidiaries in France and Spain.

1999 - 2000 Assistant Controller
TEVA PHARMA S.A. - France (92) – French subsidiary of 13 ME Turnover
- Monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports (US GAAP), budget construction. Basic book keeping and management of all financial, legal and IT duties of the subsidiary.
In addition to current tasks of financial manager in a small entity, I have implemented an efficient controlling of all R&D and commercial activities, managed with the Headquarters an ERP evolution, was the main contact for external auditors and successfully managed a tax audit.
