Work Experience

1988 - 1993: KPMG Auditing. I performed several functions up to Audit Manager. As Audit Manager I was responsible to plan, manage and perform audits and audit teams and report about audit results.

1994 - 1995: TNT Worldwide Express: Internal Auditing. In this function I travelled all of europe to subsidiaries to perform balance sheet and operational audits and occassionaly special audits such as fraud audits and or due diligences

1996 - 1998: Nortel Networks: Controller. As a controller I was responsible to report to management and sales management their respective management results. In addition, I supported sales management with the financial paragraph of proposals to customers.

1998 - 2003: Atradius: Group Internal Auditor and Director Operations. As Group Intenal Auditor I was responsible for for a department of about 8 auditors located in NL and UK. In addition, I was responsible for the planning and implemetation of yearly Audit Plan, and reporting results to Business Line Management, the Managing Board and to the Supervisory Board.

As Director Operations I was responsible for all commercial processes, a call center, setting up new insurance products and for all relations with brokers.

2004: Brinkman Groep: Interim CFO for 6 months. As Interim CFO I was responsible for all finance staff and financial processes.

2004 - 2005: MeesPierson Trust: Interim Financial Manager for 9 months. I was responsible for all finance staff and financial processes

2005: RABO International : Interim Product Controller for 9 months to ensure that proper control procedures were inplace to control all treasury transactions such as loans, deposits, and derivatives.

2006 - 2007: RABO International :Interim Project Manager for 2 years to migrate loans and fees from Atlas to ACBS and Peoplesoft and to migrate current accounts from Atlas to Peoplesoft

1983 - 1988 : Masters in Economy: VU University

1988 - 1993 : Post Degree in Auditing: VU University

1994 - 2007: All kinds of courses to maintain knowledge and comply with permanent education requirements set by the Dutch Auditing Institute NIVRA
