Major Assignments

TRANSPORT INT POOL PLC (Transportation Europe and US ) ( 1978 – 1992 )

Mr. was responsible for the entire financial and corporate organization of 21 subsidiaries in Europe. He was member of the management team and played a leading role in a MBO which resulted in a successful listing of the Company on both the Amsterdam and London stock exchange. Mr. resigned in 1990 and kept working for the company as an independent consultant until the company was sold to GE Capital.


VTG / COMOS TANK BV (Oil storage Netherlands) ( 1996 – 1999 )

Mr was appointed as interim CFO at Comos Tank bv because its market shares were shrinking and profits were tumbling. He performed a major reorganization within the company including lengthy negotiations with labor unions, implementation of new infrastructures, finance and tax rulings, repositioning of management and significant cost saving programs.
Within two years the Company became profitable again and was successfully sold to a competitor across the harbor channel (HTP Terminals). One year later Mr. was consulted again to assist with the liquidation of one of its subsidiaries and subsequent merger of the two storage companies.


NJC CAPITAL LTD ( Financial services Europe and Australia ) ( 1997 – 2002 )

Mr. was appointed through Stevenson, Wantrup & Francken as non resident finance director at NJC Capital Ltd, Melbourne, Australia. Mr was responsible for setting up Group finance structures in the Netherlands for its subsidiaries and affiliated companies, including tax rulings and multi currency facilities. These companies were managed, and administered in the Netherlands as well.


INTERNATIONAL ( Consulting the Netherlands ) ( 2000 – date )

In between above major assignments Mr. was consulted on financial issues and appointed on interim assignments in various types of industries like E-Business, Venture Capital, E-Commerce, Publishing, Financial services, HR and Trust Co’s.

In 2004 Mr. became 50 years old and decided to take a sabbatical year off.
He took the time to gain more knowledge and experience in his hobby of wine and gastronomy.
As of March 1st 2005 he joined International again to start up his consulting and interim profession.
